St. Nicholas Day Wave

It is time once again to celebrate St. Nicholas Day on Friday, December 5 by waving on the sidewalk to our friends on their way to school at Cedar Bluff Elementary School.  We need lots of smiling faces to wave to the kids early that morning, from 6:50-7:45 ish.  If you have not done this before, join us; it is very rewarding as cars honk, roll down windows, and shout greetings back to us. This year we have a new twist...we will hand out candy canes to families leaving the school, waiting to turn right onto Cedar Bluff Rd. from Gulf Park Drive.  The traffic backs up there in the mornings and this is an opportunity to greet people with a small gift from us.
