This ministry helps us to be present in our Cedar Bluff Community, building relationships for the good of our neighbors.

Cafeteria Volunteers
Throuhgout the week, members from the congregtion volunteer in the cafeteria at Cedar Bluff Elementary. We open milk cartons, pass out napkins, and support the amazing teachers and staff at Cedar Bluff Elementary.

St. Nicholas Day Wave
On St. Nicholas Day (December 6), members from the church - and St. Nicholas - stand on the side of the road and greet kids as they head to school. It is a great day to celebrate together.

Ashes to Go
On Ash Wednesday as we begin Lent, Pastor Stephen, and members of the congregation are available in the church parking lot to offer a word of prayer and the imposition of ashes for any in our community who desire to receive the sign. We are humbled at the response of so many in our community who are not able to make it to their congregation or who are not active in the church, who still desire to begin the holy season of Lent with the sign of ashes.

Last Day of School Greeting
On the last day of school, members from the church stand on the side of the road and greet kids to celebrate their last day of school and the start of summer!
